Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Sun peeking through some clouds to highlight the trees. This is the side of the Middlebury Snow Bowl near Ripton Vermont. The fall color created a tapestry over the hillsides. Sometimes the best gifts are those that come when we're not expecting them. Here, I could've waited all day with the sun drawing patterns on the Hills around me and never once might the clouds have lined up in such a way to eliminate this patch of trees. But the narrow hole in the clouds did line up illuminating the Vermont fall foliage on the side of the hill. I was able to make many pretty pictures this day but this is one of my favorites.
the Vermont fall colors created a tapestry of New England fall foliage across the hillsides. while rustic in nature the quintessential fall colors of Vermont are a welcome visual that I love to capture. The New England scenic landscape would not be complete without the fall foliage of Vermont.
